Geometry before catalogue
Viewing distances per row, horizontal angle covered and sightlines verified in section. A screen too large for the front row is discomfort bought at a luxury price.
Gain and fabric chosen by the room
Screen type, gain and behaviour under residual light depend on how the surrounding surfaces are treated. In a bright room, a high-gain screen makes the problem worse rather than better.
What gets left ready
Oversized conduit reserves, fixings verified under load, maintenance access and format masking where the room justifies it. The projector is replaced in eight years; the conduit stays forever.
